Here at Exporta, we stock a vast range of Eurocrates in a variety of shapes and sizes. Designed as the container of choice for moving almost any product in a number of different industries, often ventilated, Eurocrates are great for holding fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables. Eurocrates are particularly popular due to their easy-clean and hygienic properties. Not only are they durable and long-lasting, they also conform to standard euro regulations meaning that euro crates fit the euro footprint sizes of 400x300mm and 600x400mm. Here at Exporta Global, we stock a vast range of storage containers for all your shipping needs.
Crates of all shapes and sizes have long been the lifeline of the shipping industry, be it by land, sea, or air. For decades, they have been the container vessel of choice for moving almost any product, from batteries to bedsheets.
Crates and boxes are key to the success of just about any business that requires the transportation of goods. Whether it’s by the company themselves or by a partner shipping company, without Eurocrates and boxes the transportation of their products simply would not be possible. Anyone that looks to buy Eurocrates knows that they are getting a crate that is a simple yet effective design.
Euro crates are extremely useful to have around. They are often ventilated and therefore ideal for holding fresh produce. This trait also makes Euro crates easy to clean, making the task of keeping them clean and hygienic simple and quick. They are durable and long-lasting. They also conform to standard euro regulations, meaning that no matter which company is shipping them, they know the dimensions, stacking ability, load time, etc. Euro crates fit the euro footprint sizes of 400x300mm and 600x400mm.
Here at Exporta, Eurocrates are one of our specialities. If you have any questions regarding Eurocrates, we can help.
We have a great range of plastic Euro Crates – or Euro stacking containers, as you may also know them – here at Exporta Global, stocking a variety of footprints and volumes to cover a range of applications. They conform to the two sizes of Euro container footprint, 400x300mm and 600x400mm.
Plastic Eurocrates from Exporta are used in a wide range of applications:
The versatility of the plastic Eurocrate is one of its strongest features. A eurocrate has a long lifespan, meaning that it’s an investment in logistics that will pay dividends in the long run for your business by keeping your products safe during transit. Safer transit means less items damage, meaning less stock wastage and a higher profit margin. It’s amazing what a simple plastic euro container can do for a business.
The need for universal sized crates is a real and present problem. Crates have, originally, come in various shapes and sizes. This has made certain tasks tricky for the shipping industry; a range on non-standard sized crates has made it nigh on impossible to design and implement universal systems or solutions. As a result, a universal European standard for crates has been developed – the Eurocrate, also known as a Euro container.
Eurocrates come in two standard footprint sizes - 400x300mm and 600x400mm. This universal sizing makes it possible for industrial and shipping companies to design and implement universal solutions. This in turn allows businesses to integrate better, cutting down on planning and logistical costs and making for the exchange of business to be smoother and easier.
Many Eurocrates are also stacking crates, something that their standard footprint size lends itself to exceptionally well. By creating a universally sized crate that is also stackable, the shipping and storage solutions industry has allowed for a method of standardised shipping container that is just as easy to transport empty as it is while filled with products.
Exporta Global provide high quality Eurocrate shipping solutions to a variety of different industry types. Even if the industry that you work in is not listed below, there will almost certainly be a purpose and place for euro containers within your business. The versatility and quality of production afforded by an Exporta Global eurocrate makes them ideal for any business, large or small.

Eurocrates are handy across a wide selection of industries. Without them, many an industry would struggle to find ways to store their products and produce while in transit during shipping. Some industries that benefit from the use of euro containers are:
Light industry can be defined as the industry centred around the production, transportation, and storage of small consumer products. Some examples of such product industries that can make use of Eurocrates are manufacturers of clothing, pharmaceuticals, food & drink, and other such small goods. Thanks to the fact that our Eurocrates are lightweight but durable, they are perfect for the storage and transport of such goods. As a result, all of these industries would benefit from buying Eurocrates.
Quite possibly the most common industry to see Eurocrates at work in would be the food and drink industry. At any point during the process – from production to retail – you will likely find a eurocrate supporting the process. No matter whether you are on a farm or in a supermarket, a universal footprint size crate will be nearby.
Within the food and drink industry, our Eurocrates are utilised mostly to move food and drink, such as fresh produce, to where it needs to be. The main material used within the production process for Eurocrates is a plastic called polypropylene. This plastic is extremely durable while still being lightweight, making it perfect for an employee who has to repeatedly lift and move it while filled with food and/or drink. This plastic is also resistant to heat, cold, alkalis, acids, fluctuations in temperature, water, and many other different affecting factors. Thanks to the fact that it is so durable and resistant to damage, a eurocrate has an exceptionally long lifespan.
Electrical companies can use our plastic Eurocrates to store spare parts, keeping them separate in a neat and organised fashion while also keeping them out of harm’s way. We have supplied plastic Eurocrates to many companies – both large and small – within the electrical industry. It is important to keep spare parts separate and protected within the electrical industry as the parts can be expensive and difficult to replace. Any damage to spare parts means more time, material, and man hours put into the production of a replacement, greatly cutting into the profit margin. For an industry where margins can be small, this is a disaster.
Electrical businesses need a storage solution that will keep their spare parts safe until they are required for use in a product. This is where our plastic Eurocrates come in. Euro containers from Exporta Global are extremely durable and tough and make for a safe and secure storage environment for any spare parts that an electrical business may need to store until they are required for use.
Eurocrates and euro containers in general have seen a rise in use throughout the ecommerce business, coinciding with the rise of the ecommerce business itself. They often appear as an alternative to storage bins and trays, and for good reason. Thanks to their lightweight and durable characteristics, their lifespan means that they are essentially a one off payment for businesses that may not wish to spend massive amounts on their storage and transportation costs.
A euro container is durable, flexible, resilient, and versatile. If your business is heavily involved in ecommerce, it could be worthwhile looking at our range of Eurocrates and investing in a few choice options to store your goods in, both before and during delivery.
An ESD Euro container is a wonderful thing - to the electronics industry.
What is an ESD Euro Container?
Well, an Electro Static Discharge Euro Container - to give it its proper name - is a plastic box made to euro specifications for automation purposes that are perfect for storing and distributing electrical components.
You see, ESD is a component killer.
Essentially, ESD is a sudden flow of electricity between two surfaces that come into close contact. An electrical short or breakdown occurs after a build-up of static electricity. Sometimes this build-up of electricity can be so powerful that you can actually see a spark. Think of how sometimes you take a jumper off in a dark room and you see the blue and green static electricity - it's exactly the same thing. Pretty to look at, but a killer to electrical components and extremely dangerous in gaseous environments. Integrated circuits can suffer permanent damage so utilising every measure to prevent the build-up of static is vital. So when storing or moving these products we need to minimise the surface resistance and the volume resistivity of any materials that could build up static. That's where ESD Euro Containers come into play. Normally the materials used are of conductive plastic that spreads and creates a ""Faraday cage"" around the products. We won't go into the physics here. But needless to say, we're looking at bringing on ESD Euro Containers with great haste.
